WETZEL / New York 1962 - bespoke suit jacket in a deep midnight blue glen plaid. Beautiful quality lightweight wool, 3 button closure, no vent, 3 cuff buttons and two interior pockets - full lining in what feels like silk. This was custom made for a prominent doctor in Ohio who I found out was on a few best dressed lists while living in New York during the 50s and 60s. The jacket is in excellent condition overall but will need the inside left arm sewn back up.
This is a rare upscale piece by a renowned custom menswear tailor. Check my listings for more madcap vintage & cool oddities... Across Back Shoulders - approx 19.5.
